Bio

My love of fitness started early. At the age of 18, I started teaching step aerobics at a local studio in Lincoln, Nebraska. From that time, I never stopped loving fitness, and it just got stronger. When I was 24, I moved to San Francisco to pursue a PhD at Stanford. It was there that I started (and later sold) Victory Lap Fitness, teaching and training CEO’s and athletes. Since 2001, I have worked as a motivational and performance psychologist, at the University of Nebraska Athletic Department, gave workshops, and was invited to do lectures for different teams and organizations.

My biggest love of all is training and teaching, so I’ve come full circle, back to teaching as much as I can and helping others who want to do the same thing.
